Becoming a Blocks Buddies provider
Everything you need to know before you start: what setup involves, how you get paid, and what to expect from us.
Setup takes about 10 minutes

Create your account and verify your email
Sign up with email or Google and click the link we send you. Verified email is required before you can place offers.
- Step 2 · 3–5 minutes
Verify your government ID
You'll photograph your ID and take a selfie through our verification partner. Blocks Buddies never stores your ID images. This is what earns your Verified Provider badge.
- Step 3 · 3–5 minutes
Link your payout account
Connect your bank so earnings can reach you. You'll enter basic business details and account information through our payments partner.
- Step 4 · 2 minutes
Build your profile and submit
Add a photo, the services you offer, your service radius, and a short bio. Upload license or insurance documents if you have them for extra badges.
Approval
Once your checklist is complete, a real person at Blocks Buddies reviews your application — typically within 24 hours on weekdays. You'll get an email either way. If something's missing, the email says exactly what to fix, and you can resubmit from your onboarding page in one click.
How you get paid
The money is there before you start
When a needer accepts your offer, the full amount is charged and held in escrow. You can see the job is funded before you lift a finger.
Flat $1 fee — and tips are yours
Blocks Buddies takes a flat $1 per completed job, not a percentage. Tips go to you in full, with no fee at all.
Cash out when you want
Once both sides mark the job complete, your earnings move to your balance. Cash out any time from $1 up — standard bank transfers usually land in 1–2 business days, instant transfers in minutes where your bank supports them.
If something goes wrong
Either side can report an issue from the job page. That pauses the release of funds while our team reviews both sides and the evidence, then we resolve it.
Good to know
- You're an independent contractor. You choose which jobs to bid on, set your own price, and use your own tools and vehicle. Blocks Buddies is a marketplace, not your employer, and is not a party to the work agreement.
- Keep conversations and payments on the platform. Sharing phone numbers or email addresses in messages is blocked, and off-platform payments aren't protected by escrow.
- Offers are first come, first served. Turn on job alerts in your settings so you hear about new jobs the moment they're posted.
